When Kill Rock Stars founder Slim Moon returned to the helm after a seven-year sabbatical, he quickly realized that digital marketing had become an essential aspect of music promotion. We initially came onboard to enact social and display advertising, and have since integrated our workflow with theirs to be part of a small team that manages the label's marketing from top to bottom.
With a focus on ecommerce, we've supported releases from a mixture of developing and legacy artists including Elliott Smith, Tele Novella, TEKE::TEKE, MAITA, Big Joanie, Mi'ens, Tamar Aphek, and many more. We've incorporated a mixture of technical marketing services, from ad buying on all major advertising platforms and partner sites to data analysis and goal reporting, with creative services aimed at elevating artist brands (AR filters, videography, graphic design). In-spite of pandemic challenges, KRS reported growth in 2020.
